Samuel Mösching is a guitarist and composer who has performed internationally, including in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, England, and Argentina. He holds a Master's degree in Performance and Composition from the University of Lucerne. Samuel has headlined at prestigious venues such as the Blue Note and Lincoln Center in New York City, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and has been featured at festivals like Bonnaroo and the Chicago Jazz Festival.
Over the years, Samuel has collaborated with notable musicians including Mars Williams, Rusty Jones, Gerry Hemingway, and John Stowell. He has released several acclaimed albums, such as "Ethereal Kinks," "Up with the New Samuel Mösching Trio," and "Some Other Tree." Samuel's unique style, which blends elements of jazz, classical, and other genres, has earned him recognition from peers worldwide, with critics praising his "warm sound," "fluid and inventive playing," and "complexity as both a performer and composer.
Samuel is a recipient of the Friedl-Wald Scholarship in 2011 and the Prize of the City of Thun, Switzerland, in 2014. He currently performs with various ensembles, including Zeshan B & The Transistors, with whom he has appeared on national television shows like Late Night with Stephen Colbert.
